Tokyo (Chiba)
Oreimo, all called Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, is located mainly in Chiba. Chiba is a short train ride from Tokyo.
This excursion is easy in difficulty. The trip is effortless to complete, especially if you are staying in Tokyo, as there are few train changes, the journeys are relatively short and the stations used are central stations that are difficult to make mistakes. Compared to other excursions, walking also accumulates quite moderately.
Akihabara, jossa myös sarjaa “kuvataan” jää toistaiseksi tämän artikkelin ulkopuolelle, Akibasta on tulossa myöhemmin omat artikkelinsa – ja Akibaan ei ehkä ole tarpeen muutenkaan laatia reittiohjeita, kaikki otakun tiet vievät sinne lopulta kuitenkin… Comiket taas on järjestetty Tokyo Big Sight-rakennuksessa, huomattava maamerkki sekin jo itsessään ja helppo löytää.
From Tokyo, this excursion takes less than a day.
Directions
Chiba can be reached directly from Tokyo without any changes using the Sobu Main line, the easiest station for the line is usually Tokyo JR Central Station. Another option is the Keiyo line, whichever you want to travel with.
Travel to Chiba JR Station, where when you get out you will immediately notice a familiar monorail train track nearby, you will know right away that you are definitely in the right place!
Chiba
From Chiba Station, head north, toward Chiba Park. The park is familiar to everyone from the beginning of the series, and is of course also a favorite pastime for locals. Continue through the park to the north and finally towards Chibakengokoku Shrine. Notice the unholy place in front of the place where Manami usually waits for Kyosuke as they walk together to school!
Jatka pohjoiseen, kulkien kohti Chiban prefektuurin “Commercial High Schoolia” kohti. Jos aikaa riittää niin voi vielä käydä Hanami-joen suunnalla etsimässä tuttuja maisemia – lähimpänä olevalle Kemigawahaman JR-asemalle pääsee mm. Keiyo -linjalla.
Small area, still lots to see
This trip is quite short and fast compared to the others, but no less inferior - I recommend to all Oreimo lovers a visit to Chiba, exploring the home corners of Kirino and Kyosuke!
