We are located in Helsinki, at Torivoudintie 3. However, the premises are not a traditional shop with fixed opening hours or open all the time. by appointment a well-functioning, cosy shop & showroom where you can make bargains!
Payment methods include cash and more common cards, Google and Apple Pay (MobilePay and PayPal only via the online shop for now). Of course, you can also pick up your online orders from the shop!
Why is this, just a pop-up shop/showroom by appointment and not a traditional brick-and-mortar store?
First and foremost, we definitely want to offer our visitors a truly relaxed and authentic experience, a safe space where they can explore the show in the company of their choice - either alone or with a few good friends. It's important to us that even introverts can feel totally free to get excited and make themselves at home!
- Secondly, our facilities are moderate in size and therefore has limitations to the number of people that can be accommodated at one time. It is as much about safety as it is about comfort.
- Thirdly, there is the cost, each hour costs money whenever staff are present and by booking an appointment we avoid "idle time". This helps everyone; there are huge upward pressures on prices due to the current situation and we are doing everything we can to provide the cheapest possible service - at the same time we don't want to pay any costs for our other subscribers who would not be able to visit at all due to distance, for example.
Appointments are made below in the calendar where free times are marked and you can choose the visit that suits you. At the same time, please note that our entire stock is not on display in the showroom, so if there is one or more specific figurines/products that you would definitely like to see "live" please send us a message in advance so we can make sure and get them ready if necessary. Our second warehouse is in a different part of town, so we don't have time to pick up in the middle of a visit.
We understand that making an appointment can be a hassle of its own, fitting it in with other busy schedules can be challenging and it locks up your schedule even more, but after considering all the options, this is the best option overall - our clients deserve only the best.
Some things to consider when booking:
- One booking / person / day
- Up to four people at a time
- All our products are at least R-15 so younger children will need a guardian with them - we do have plushies for sale, but mostly adult collectibles.
- Make a reservation no later than 24 hours before arrival (and if there are any obstacles or changes please let us know - please!)
- The booking calendar usually extends four weeks ahead
- The commercial space is an old building stock, at that time not enough attention was paid to the different needs - there are four steps to the entrance so we assist the access for people with reduced mobility as much as we can. Please let us know in advance if assistance is required (and we will of course work with the property owner to find a better solution).
