Our shop is located in Helsinki, Torivoudintie 3. However, it is not a traditional store with fixed opening hours or that is constantly open, instead it is open by reservation a cozy store & showroom where you can make good finds!
Available payment methods include cash and most common cards, Google and Apple Pay (MobilePay and PayPal for now only through the online store). Of course, you can also pick up online orders from the store!
Why is this just a pop-up store / showroom by appointment and not a traditional cobblestone store?
- First and foremost, we definitely want to offer our visitors a truly relaxed and authentic experience, a safe space where you can enjoy the presentation in the company of your choice - either alone or with a few good friends. It is important to us that even introvertes get excited and feel at home!
- Secondly, our facilities are moderate in size and therefore place demands on the number of people that can be accommodated at one time. It's about safety as well as comfort.
- Third comes the costs, every hour pays whenever the staff is there and by booking an appointment we avoid "idling" during the opening hours. This helps everyone; the prices are under enormous upward pressure due to the prevailing situation and we do everything we can to offer the most affordable service possible - at the same time, we do not want to pay any costs for our other subscribers who would not have the opportunity to visit, e.g. due to intermediate distances.
Appointments are made below on the calendar where free times are marked and you can choose the visit that suits you. At the same time, please note that our entire inventory is not on display in the showroom, so if there is one or more specific figures/products that you would definitely like to see "live", please send us a message in advance and we can make sure and, if necessary, get them ready. Our second warehouse is on the other side of the city, so we don't have time to pick it up in the middle of the visit.
We understand that booking an appointment also causes its own kind of inconvenience, it can be challenging to fit appointments with other busy schedules, and booking an appointment locks up schedule time even more, but after considering all the options, this is the best option as a whole - our customers deserve only the best.
Some things to consider when booking:
- One booking / person / day
- Up to four people at a time
- All our products are at least R-15, so younger ones need a caregiver - of course we have plushies for sale, but as a rule, we have products for adult collectors.
- Make a reservation no later than 24 hours before arrival (and if there are any obstacles or changes please let us know - please!)
- The booking calendar usually extends four weeks ahead
- The retail space is an old building stock, at that time there was not enough attention to different needs - there are four steps to the entrance so we assist the disabled with as much access as we can. Please let us know in advance if help is needed (and of course we are looking for a better solution with the property owner.)
