Japanese anime based on the novel by Nisio Isin. After befriending Tsubasa Hanekawa (voice of Yui Horie), Koyomi Araragi (Hiroshi Kamiya), a student at Naoetsu High School, learns of the existence of vampires and meets one when he discovers Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade (Maaya Sakamoto) dying in the aftermath of an attack by vampire hunters.
